Catherine North

Since 1986 Catherine North has been recognised for her extensive knowledge in the fields of natural health. She is an experienced teacher of Kinesiology and Aura-Soma Colour Therapy .

Catherine, nationally and internationally, is a registered Kinesiologist and previously held the position of New Zealand Faculty for the International Kinesiology College (IKC).

Catherine North began her training in colour therapy with Mike Booth in 1991. She is passionate about her students becoming qualified practitioners and teachers in their own right. Many New Zealand Aura-Soma teachers have been taught by Catherine, and her students are gaining the much sought-after New Zealand Health Charter qualifications.

Catherine works closely with Pamela Matthews, a visionary artist, creator of the Aura-Soma Tarot deck. These paintings enhance the interpretation of the colour meanings and give the trainees’ added confidence in their work. The cards act as a beautiful method of raising consciousness.

Catherine has taught light energy work since 1990. This light energy work creates a trinity of natural health modalities with Aura-Soma and Kinesiology, and forms the basis of Soul Power work. Catherine has observed incredible results using Soul Power Kinesiology which she developed with fellow kinesiologist Barbara Davidson.

Catherine and husband John established Golden Hill School of Healing Arts as a training facility. The school, set in the bush surrounded by native birds, looks out over the upper reaches of the Auckland harbour down the Hauraki Gulf. Golden Hill operates as a clinic and training centre for all levels of natural therapy. Catherine also teaches classes at other venues around New Zealand and overseas.
